Racquel G. Barthen

RGB is no stranger to the practice of family law as she started working in the legal field in 1968 in Los Angeles, California. In Los Angeles, RGB was a legal secretary and office manager through the mid 70’s. After moving to Illinois, RGB worked for 25 years at Discover Financial Services. After her retirement, RGB, affectionately known as Mama, joined Gravel & Wechter P.C. in 2004. RGB is the office manager and handles the billing for the office. RGB makes sure that the office is properly supplied with all the items required to run a law firm. RGB also oversees general office projects such as new computer systems, contracts with vendors, hiring, ensuring compliance with local and state authorities and basically has her hands in everything. RGB is a native of Texas, currently resides in Vernon Hills, and is the mother of two adult children and the grandmother to six.
